I picked up my brand new Mini Cooper John Cooper Works F56.
After 2 years of having my Mini Cooper S R56 (which I dearly loved), it was time to trade it in for a bit of an upgrade in the shape of this. I’ve never had a brand new car, but once I saw the release of the F56 Mini, I knew I wanted one. I ordered in July, and it was delivered in September 2015.
The new F56 is a 2.0L turbocharged engine with considerably more power than my original R56. There is a lot more tech inside, as you would expect, and the new-style JCW seats are lovely for longer drives. I’m totally over the moon with it.
