I bought a bike! 🥳
I passed my test in October 2020, but since then, I have never ridden a motorbike. I had my Super 73, which was great fun, but its range was limited and doing a 40-mile round trip to work was a stretch on it. Its top speed was only 30mph, so I couldnt go on any dual carriageways either, which meant jumping through back streets and cycleways.
I always knew one day I’d buy a bike; my goal was something like a BMW 310 GS. I preferred the adventure bike rider position and the comfort that brings, but finding a decent BMW in my price range was hard work. I started looking at similar-sized, powered bikes and came across the KTMs.
There were two 390 adventures in the same showroom local to me, so I went down for a test drive and loved it. Both rode well, and I decided to go with the newer model. Two days later, I took delivery of my (new to me) 2024 KTM 390 Adventure.
