January
- Still riding my bike to work, but definitely enjoy it more in the hotter months.
- I’m thinking of repairing my iPad screen. 4 weeks after I got my iPad Pro, LJ dropped a remote control on it and shattered the screen. It’s not 7 years old, and I’m thinking I’m capable of fixing it.
- Still donating.
February
- I ran the Grizedale Half Marathon on Feb 1st. My first trail run. Enjoyed it.
- Me and LJ raced around with his remote control cars in the snow, which was great fun.
- We visited the National Science & Media Museum in Bradford, which was actually good fun. You should visit it.
- Still donating.
March
- Me and LJ took our yearly father-son trip to Centre Parcs, and it was as brilliant as always. The best fun.
- I nearly bought another dog, and now, as I write this, I’m sad I didn’t. I really want another puppy.
- I built the Lego Back to the Future car, and it was great fun.
- I completed the 2026 Cleveland Survival.
- Still donating.
April
- We visited Pickering Showground to see a motorbike/monster truck show. It was alright.
- I’m still riding my bike to work when the weather is nice.
- I’m still donating regularly.
May
- I played a charity football match.
- We went camping in the lakes for the May Day bank holiday; it was roasting—another good camping trip. We should go camping more.
- Boro lost the play-off final. Typical.
- Forza Horizon 6 came out. I’ve played it quite a bit, but I definitely don’t have the time to play as much as I used to anymore.
June
- We went strawberry picking at Spillmans. First time I’ve done this, was really good.
- I discovered Nerds Gummy Clusters, and now I’ve got a small addiction.
- The bearing on the washing machine is going, I think, and I’m 99% sure I should be able to fix it. The bearings are around £12, so it’s got to be worth trying to fix if it’s going to go in the scrap.
- The World Cup started, so that means at least 4-5 weeks of constant football.
- I’ve been reading more on my Kindle.
- I’ve bought 2 more laptops as my old HP is just too slow, but now I have a dilemma over which one to send back.
