A fantastic 9.1-mile loop around Ullswater, taking in the shoreline towards Howtown before climbing 573m up towards Bonscale Pike and Arthur’s Pike. The steepest section was a real test, with mile 5 slowing to 1.85 mph, but the reward was flying back down the other side—miles 7–9 all clocked around 3.9 mph, making for a satisfying finish to a 2h 45m adventure.
